Countdown in Waiheke Island, AKL 1081
Location in Waiheke Island / Auckland(Phone number, Hours, map, Countdown in Waiheke Island Stores near me)What is happening at our Countdown on Waiheke ?? Half the shelves are empty most of the times, good products like organic fruit and vegetables, organic olive oil, coconut Kefir etc. are not available anymore. Watermelons are sold only whole, not cut in wedges (what single person can handle a whole watermelon ?), the vegan mayonnaise was replaced by one twice as expensive yet impossible to get out of the tub it comes in, there is no more soft plastic recycling anymore... isles are blocked by trolleys catering for online shoppers.... I really don't like to shop there anymore, but what can I do ? It's the only supermarket we have on the island. Tough luck. That's probably also the attitude of the Countdown managers. Very disappointing.
Centrally located and plenty of parking
