The only staff member Molly, was serving Lotto customers but people were in line to express checkout their groceries. The woman in front of me made 2 of 3 comments loudly to other customers in line. When Molly came over to open the checkout ( no customers had noticed the Closed Sign -even me who was 3rd in line) the woman said to Molly rudely " YOU need more staff" ( like it was Molly's fault). Molly smiled at her & apologised & quickly got the woman's items checked & then I heard Molly say to her "Oh .... you have a $15 Countdown credit voucher, would you like to use it" - the woman became a bit quieter. Molly ever so nicely was smiling at the woman & engaging with her so professionally to calm her down. I was so impressed as, Molly under pressure, handled the situation so well & she is a credit to your operations. Extremely impressed by Customer Service attitude & manner of Molly. 5 star rating for staff member - From Sonya ChCh.
I have been coming to this store for many yrs but I’m astonished how u think it’s ok to have one person on checkout who doesn’t pack the groceries and don’t go on bout the Covid thing cos this was going on way b4 that all started so I’m ova spending 300$ or more per week to have to throw all my groceries back into trolley cos u guys won’t touch them so u have to try and get them packed or just chuck em all into trolley I felt so pissed off all my bread was crushed and my eggs broken and it’s not like that at the supermarket down the rd why is it like that in your store I’m ova it I’m going to shop at new world from now at least they act like they care and they have enough staff after 6pm and u can’t seem to get down certain aisles cos the packers have blocked em off it’s only the ferry mead store I’ve found so frustrating very very disappointing
